Developing a new idea?

Too many ideas?

The idea has got lost along the way?

The idea isn’t coming across?

I have a distinctive interdisciplinary approach to developing and structuring ideas, writing and editing. Expressing concepts in clear and elegant language and through images lie at the heart of my work.

As a writer, I can help with:

  • Developing concepts for publications, exhibitions, websites and presentations
  • Conducting research and interviews
  • Composing texts and for different contexts such as articles, books, portfolios, websites and gallery spaces

As a creative structural editor, I can help with:

  • Establishing the concept and contents of writing projects at inception
  • The overall organisation of a manuscript
  • The appropriate structure and style for different contexts such as books, academic papers and online articles
  • Ensuring that arguments are logical and understandable
  • Removing superfluous and repetitive text
  • Titling
  • The use of images to support an argument
  • The correct use of English
  • Proofreading and checking that the style of writing is consistent throughout
  • Translation from German into English

Writing, editing and developing concepts are collaborative processes which begin with a conversation. To arrange a free preliminary discussion of your requirements, email me at info@timothywray.com.
